OEM PRODUCTS: REGEN TURBINE MAGNETIC DRIVE
Regenerative Turbine pumps utilize a close tolerance impeller with many small vanes, in place of a traditional centrifugal impeller, that delivers flow on the periphery of the pump housing. This design provides a steeper head/flow curve than a centrifugal pump. For thin fluids, this can provide a lower cost alternative to a positive displacement gear or diaphragm pump, and is also more tolerant of high temperature. Ober-Read offers three series of Mag-Drive Regerative turbine pumps.
Regenerative Turbine pumps are widely used in applications for chillers, electronics cooling, extrusion equipment, and many industrial OEM applications.
