Regenerative Turbine pumps are tight tolerance pumps with an impeller that generates a higher head performance than comparably sized centrifugal pumps. Ideal for thinner fluids, the Nikuni pumps have modular inlet and outlet port configurations for flexible installation into OEM equipment.
Nikuni utilizes a fixed impeller. Many competitors use a floating impeller, which relies on good hydraulic conditions to balance the impeller centrally. When good conditions are not present (startup, shut-down, open flow, dead head, starved inlet, etc) a floating impeller will wear and ultimately reduce seal life and performance. Nikuni fixed impeller G and D series pumps do not have impeller wear and are more efficient because they are closer tolerance to the pump body.

Nikuni FHD, STW and SNW (2 stage) pumps are ideal for steam boiler and steam generator applications. Nikuni utilizes a fixed impeller on these pumps. Many competitors use a floating impeller, that relies on good hydraulic conditions to balance the impeller centrally.
